Frequently asked questions

Five things: one specific reference to a piece of their content, who you are and what brand you represent, the exact deliverables and dates you want, the fee, and an easy way for them to say no. If any of those is missing, the creator has to reply just to find out what you are actually proposing, and most will not bother.

Short enough to read on a phone without scrolling twice, so roughly 100 to 150 words. The length is not the goal in itself: it is the symptom of an email that states the offer instead of building up to it. Cut every line that does not help the creator decide.

Yes, or at least a range. Naming a figure early filters out the mismatches for free and signals that you have run campaigns before. Hiding it costs you two rounds of emails and reads as a negotiation tactic, which is exactly how creators treat it.

Twice, then stop. Wait five to seven working days after the first email, then the same again before a short closing note. A third and fourth chase does not convert, it just makes your brand the one that cannot take silence for an answer.

Either buy the gap with scope or state a best and final, never ask them to discount their own rate. Cutting a deliverable, dropping paid usage or shortening the usage window lets them keep their published price. When the scope is fixed, name your number once, add what costs you nothing in cash (fast payment, no exclusivity, a second campaign booked now), and leave the door open.

Check their profile bio first: many creators put a business address there precisely so brands can reach them without a DM. If it is not there, look at their link-in-bio page, their YouTube about tab or their website. At volume, an influencer platform with an email finder does this in bulk.

The structure works, the copy-paste does not. What gets answered is a template with three fields genuinely filled in: a real observation about their content, the exact deliverables and dates, and the fee. The scaffolding around those fields can be identical across a hundred sends.
